We've seen a lot of great DIY wedding at The BRIX! That said, it does required a little extra planning on your end to make sure the set up and end of night run smoothly.
We recommending putting one person in charge, so you can take your mind off of the details on your wedding day. If you haven't hired a professional coordinator, we recommend putting someone in charge who doesn't mind putting in some extra work to make sure your day run smoothly.
Our team will be here to answer any questions, provide ladders, tape, zip ties, etc., Setting up decor tends to be outside the capacity of our one event manager onsite.
Set up
- Venue access begins at 12pm
- We have ladders onsite, if you're planning to use them please have the people using the ladder sign this release.
- You're welcome to leave the boxes inside the venue. We generally recommend putting them inside the catering space; our event manager can show you where. Please do not put them in the coat room :)
Tear down
- Have your friends / family / coordinator tear down 30 - 60 minutes prior to the end of night.
- You're welcome to leave a car, truck, trailer, etc. overnight in our parking lot.
- If you have a lot of items, consider renting a truck or trailer.
- If you've built your own arch, make sure there's someone to tear it down.
